Thanks to everyone who has helped by reporting, isolating or fixing issues.Īs usual, there really should be no problems in installing this straight over the top of your existing Kodi version – indeed, this will happen automatically on many platforms – but, if you’ve any doubts, back up your userdata beforehand. Let’s see if we can resolve that for 19.2…* As such, we’ve had to pull Xbox 19.1 – sorry, folks. Sadly, this isn’t going to happen – there’s a new issue that’s bubbled up on Xbox that means you can’t download any addons, which is a touch… inconvenient. It’s worth mentioning that there’s a known memory limitation – present in 18.x as well – that causes Xbox application crashes with 4k content, so please be aware. We’ve fixed that now, so Xbox users will automatically upgrade from 18.9 to 19.1 if you’ve got auto-update enabled. This version also brings 19.1 to the Xbox – while 19.0 has been in the Microsoft Store since launch, this was Windows-only while we found a way to adequately test the new release on Xbox.Fixed: SMB shares labelled with cryptic numbers (UUID) instead of actual disk name.Fixed: SMB shares mounted on system level not visible in Kodi.Updated: VC runtimes included in the installer to add compatibility with VS2019 and VS2017 at the same time.Fixed: credentials being requested for anonymous SMB shares.Fixed: green screen when playing the menu of some DVDs (MPEG2 SD only).Fixed: black screen with Software render method and with DXVA2 hardware acceleration disabled.Fixed: green screen on systems with old HW (DX feature level 9.1) playing 10-bit videos.Fixed: with some unusual streams, incorrect HDR metadata could be passed (HDR10 passthrough).Extends current Debug Info Player (Ctrl+Shift+O) with new video-only info (Alt+O) Added: support for WS-Discovery protocol that enables locating SMB servers and browsing shared folders using SMBv3. This motto, which is still used today, was created by Christiansen to encourage his employees never to skimp on quality, a value he believed in strongly. The Lego Group's motto, "only the best is good enough" ( Danish: det bedste er ikke for godt, literally "the best isn't excessively good") was created in 1936. The bricks, originally manufactured from cellulose acetate, were a development of the traditional stackable wooden blocks of the time. Lego had received a sample of the Kiddicraft bricks from the supplier of an injection-molding machine that it purchased. These bricks were based on the Kiddicraft Self-Locking Bricks, which had been patented in the United Kingdom in 1939 and released in 1947. In 1949 Lego began producing, among other new products, an early version of the now familiar interlocking bricks, calling them "Automatic Binding Bricks". In 1947, Lego expanded to begin producing plastic toys. In 1934, his company came to be called "Lego", derived from the Danish phrase leg godt, which means "play well". The Lego Group began in the workshop of Ole Kirk Christiansen (1891–1958), a carpenter from Billund, Denmark, who began making wooden toys in 1932. Main articles: History of Lego and Lego timeline Hilary Fisher Page's Interlocking Building Cubes by Kiddicraft, 1939 Lego bricks Two Lego Duplo bricks with a standard brick for comparison As of July 2015, 600 billion Lego parts had been produced. Films, games competitions, and eight Legoland amusement parks have been developed under the brand. The Lego Group began manufacturing the interlocking toy bricks in 1949. Anything constructed can be taken apart again, and the pieces reused to make new things. Lego pieces can be assembled and connected in many ways to construct objects, including vehicles, buildings, and working robots. Lego consists of variously colored interlocking plastic bricks made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene that accompany an array of gears, figurines called minifigures, and various other parts. Dunning suggests that these two events were combined in an urban legend about government-monitored arcade machines making players ill. Dunning records that the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided several video arcades in the area just ten days later, where the owners were suspected of using the machines for gambling, and the lead-up to the raid involved FBI agents monitoring arcade cabinets for signs of tampering and recording high scores. He notes that two players fell ill in Portland on the same day in 1981, one collapsing with a migraine headache after playing Tempest, and another suffering from stomach pain after playing Asteroids for 28 hours in a filmed attempt to break a world record at the same arcade. American producer and author Brian Dunning believes Polybius to be an urban legend that grew out of a mixture of influences in the 1980s. Skeptics and researchers have differing ideas on when, how and why the story of Polybius began. Still, Polybius has enjoyed cult-like status as a throwback to a more technologically paranoid era." Ben Silverman of Yahoo! Games remarked: "Unfortunately, there is no evidence that the game ever existed, no less turned its users into babbling lunatics. Aside from the mockup cabinets and games inspired by the myth, no authentic cabinets or ROM dumps have ever been documented. Magazines and mainstream news of the early 1980s make no mention of Polybius. This led to the hypothesis that the government was hosting some sort of experiment and sending subliminal messages to the players. , which catalogs urban legends, concludes the game is a modern-day version of 1980s rumors of "men in black". The alleged original Polybius arcade game does not exist. The article declared the existence of the game to be "inconclusive", helping to both spark curiosity and spread the story.Īnalysis E-FOIA request for Polybius, which returned no results This is the first known printed mention of the game, exposing the legend to a mass-market audience. Polybius appeared in a September 2003 issue of GamePro, as part of a feature story on video games called "Secrets and Lies". The game has the same name as the classical Greek historian Polybius, born in Arcadia and known for his assertion that historians should never report what they cannot verify through interviews with eyewitnesses. The word's meanings are derived from the German words Sinne ("senses") and löschen ("to extinguish" or "to delete"), though the way they are combined is not standard German Sinnlöschen would be more correct. If it was a German term of actual use, "Sinneslöschen" would be pronounced like. The word is described by writer Brian Dunning as "not-quite-idiomatic German" (a word constructed outside the norms of German-language usage and grammar) meaning "sense delete" or "sensory deprivation". The company named in most accounts of the game is Sinneslöschen. Approximately one month after its supposed release in 1981, Polybius is said to have disappeared without a trace. Players supposedly suffered from a series of unpleasant side effects, including seizures, amnesia, insomnia, night terrors, and hallucinations. The machines were visited by men in black, who collected unknown data from the machines, allegedly testing responses to the game's psychoactive effects. The game was popular to the point of addiction, with lines forming around the machines and often resulting in fights over who would play next. The urban legend says that in 1981, when new arcade games were uncommon, an unheard-of new arcade game appeared in several suburbs of Portland, Oregon. Legend A mocked-up Polybius cabinet made by Rogue Synapse This urban legend has persisted in video game journalism and through continued interest, and has inspired video games with the same name. Allegedly, all of these Polybius arcade machines disappeared from the arcade market. These few publicly staged arcade machines were said to have been visited periodically by men in black for the purpose of data-mining the machines and analyzing these effects. Gameplay supposedly produced intense psychoactive and addictive effects in the player. The legend describes the game as part of a government-run crowdsourced psychology experiment based in Portland, Oregon. Polybius is a fictitious 1981 arcade game that is part of an urban legend. The game i loved most in the series was the legend, since not only was the first game ive played of the series, it was also a really good one and it had so many good components that made it a great game (like lot and different puzzle solving, great storyline, great motocycling levels and variety of maps). It's ok, i respect your opinion, even though i think the underworld was still lot better than the new tomb raider. You didn't like that much tomb raider:underworld. The new tomb raider game it's more like a survival game than anything else, there's almost no puzzle solving in that new and different game. Tomb raider is the best in YOUR opinion, defenly not mine or lot of the other ppl's opinion, and it's not even sequel to any game of the series, since it's a totally new story, which in my opinion is really sad and stupid. Lol, the new tomb raider it's a totally different game, and therefore shouldn't be even compared. Anniversary was a long and great as well, but Underworld. Legend had that great storyline and different places to explore, different countries. (Best Tomb Raider is the newest one.) But Underworld should be the Legend and Anniversary sequel and it wasnt that good. Actaully the game was a little fail in my opinion. I just put some time in getting the blocks to roll onto the pressure plate. Hopefully they'll give Crystal Dynamics the freedom and time to implement deep changes to the gameplay, rather than telling them to simply reduce Lara's bust size so they can churn out a new Tomb Raider for next Christmas.Originally posted by BlackVeined:Had the same problem! Read some things about physX driver issues and v-sync settings (v-sync was already turned on). Still, Eidos has been with Tomb Raider since the beginning and should know by now that small superficial changes aren't what is needed to revive this series. It's possible Crystal Dynamics has a lot of ideas for revamping the gameplay for the next Tomb Raider game. It's worth noting that the BBC article that spurred this rant didn't interview anyone from Crystal Dynamics and the person who first brought up The Dark Knight was actually the Chief Financial Officer of Eidos. This is the kind of crap that players have gotten tired of - not Lara's unreasonable measurements or the formulaic storylines. I've jumped to my death too many times because I couldn't swing the stubborn camera around to show the five feet in front of my character's face. Also, it'd be swell to play a Tomb Raider game where the camera wasn't balls terrible. Isn't it time to finally make the combat mechanics not suck? Since 1996, all you've had to do is hold down the "target" button, hold down the "fire" button, and then hop around in circles until every bat/spider/wolf in the room is dead. I'm not suggesting that the series change from its traditional emphasis on traversing through forgotten tombs and caverns through a mixture of puzzles, platforming, and combat - I'm just suggesting Crystal Dynamics find a better way to execute this gameplay. While yes, the original Tomb Raider was a success because of that gameplay, you can't skate by on the same tricks for that long without people getting bored. Why'd Legend manage to do well, then? Gameplay. Legend's relative success really had little to do with its story, though in fact, some might argue that Darkness had a stronger plot. Crystal Dynamics' first outing, Tomb Raider: Legend, was a reboot of the series' story and fared better than Darkness but still didn't reach the level of acclaim that the first two games in the series did. Core Design attempted to make the series grittier and darker with Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness and the game tanked so badly that Eidos took the series away from them and gave it to Crystal Dynamics. They've already tried that twice with Tomb Raider by my count. It's baffling Eidos would even consider a reboot, though. The simple, escapist premise is fine and doesn't need to be rethought. Granted, all the storylines follow more or less the same formula - Lara going off to find some forgotten relic - but there's not many other reasons why someone would go off and raid tombs. Likewise, I don't think revising up the series' plot or tone would suddenly renew gamers' interest in the series. Still, I have trouble believing that women would suddenly be taken with the series if Croft were a self-made women with a more realistic figure. Some might also take exception to the fact that she's an heiress rather than someone who supports herself financially. Everything about her look is designed for the enjoyment of a male audience - she has a body that would make Barbie jealous and she does most of her treasure-hunting in short-shorts and a tank top. Though she's an ass-kicking treasure hunter who relies on her own wits and strength to survive, it's true that she's not the most "female-friendly" character ever devised. Maximum Pour Depth per Layer: 2" for river pours and slab pours 3" for larger castings using less than 1 gallon of mixed epoxy. When applying to wood or porous surfaces, be sure to apply a very thin skim coat of epoxy to seal the surface, and allow it to cure before applying more epoxy. When pouring for larger projects, such as slabs or tables, do not exceed a pour depth of 2" to prevent yellowing or excessive heat from the cure. For the epoxy to cure fully, the ambient temperature must be between 60☏ and 80☏. Helping to dissipate the heat may help promote the best results. Depending on the mass of mixed epoxy used in a single pour, the pour depth, and the ambient temperature, excessive heat may build up from the reaction, causing potential yellowing, cracks, or other shrinkage. IMPORTANT! Environmental conditions are extremely important to the clarity and quality of the cure. But, if you are pouring deeper than an inch per layer, you want Fathom!Īpplication Temperature/RH: 60-80☏, relative humidity 0-80% TotalBoat ThickSet and ThickSet Fathom epoxies are both deep epoxies. Should I use TotalBoat ThickSet or ThickSet Fathom epoxy for my project – what’s the difference? Always follow the maximum pour depth based on the volume of ThickSet Fathom.Wait until the previous layer has dropped below 85☏, and the previous epoxy pour has firmed up enough that it will not distort when liquid epoxy is poured on it - it is likely that the previous layer will still be soft. For applications when it’s important to have the shortest interval for multiple pours, wait at least 24 hours, then use an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature at the center of the epoxy mass, where the highest temperature will be recorded.Conservatively, the safest interval to wait is a minimum of 36 hours for ThickSet Fathom to cure prior to applying more, regardless of pour depth and ambient temperature. When your project involves pouring multiple layers of ThickSet Fathom, it is extremely important to wait until the previous layer has cooled sufficiently, to prevent surface distortion, yellowing, or other negative effects of excessive heat while the epoxy is curing. Not compatible with 2:1 epoxy pumps.įor best results when applying additional layers of ThickSet Fathom after the first pour, it’s important to note the following: Do not use in working temperatures above 80☏. PLEASE NOTE: ThickSet Fathom is an advanced deep pour epoxy resin system.Kit sizes: 1.5 Gallon Kit, 3 Gallon Kit, and 6 Gallon Kit.Use on prepared wood, concrete, metal, and stone surfaces to make unique table, counter and bar tops.Low VOC and low odor make it ideal for indoor or studio use.Self-leveling formula releases bubbles easily.Easy to tint resin with mica powder, alcohol inks, universal tints and pigment paste dispersions.Simple 2:1 ratio makes it easy to mix and apply.Ultra-clear, high-gloss finish resists scratches, stains and yellowing.Extremely slow cure time allows thick pours up to three times deeper than traditional epoxy systems.

A computer that has a network connection and is ACPI (Advanced Configuration Power Interface) compatible, can be awakened by a network message, called the “Magic Packets.” So, the magic packets are used to send Wake-on-LAN-enabled ethernet adapters and motherboards to switch on the called system. Wake-on-LAN is an Ethernet or Token Ring computer networking standard or simply a hardware/software solution that remotely turns on a computer and server by a network message.
